California Beach Party
Hey, all you hodads and gremmies! Surf's up with California Beach Party.
California Beach Party is a 6-piece band that plays music from the early '60s, surf-music era by groups like the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, the Ventures, the Surfaris, Dick Dale, and more. Not only that, but we mix in Summer music from any era. Songs like Soak Up the Sun, Hot Hot Hot, Summertime Blues, What I Like About You, Kokomo, and Three Little Birds (Don't Worry 'Bout a Ting). We also play all the “dance songs,” including the Twist, the Limbo, the Hokey-Pokey, and the Hand Jive. Our number one goal is to turn any party into a great party.
Our show is interactive. We demonstrate all the above-mentioned dances and we encourage sing-alongs. After one of our shows, you'll swear you were just on the set of one of those campy Frankie and Annette movies. We're not happy unless everybody is dancing, singing and sweating along with us.
Whether we're in Hawaii, Santa Cruz, or a ballroom with sand on the floor, we're ready to party!
Steve Bayner - Hypnotist
From a magician as a child performing for the neighborhood, to a garage band in junior high school, an actor in the making in college and even a dance instructor, Steve Bayner found his niche and passion as a stage hypnotist. “Hypnotizing people”, says Steve “is something I love”. “Each show is different as each personality is different. Every show is a challenge with new people and new experiences.” Often, Steve has been asked if he was born with the skill to hypnotize people. The answer is “NO”. Hypnosis is a skill that is developed through years of study and dedication. The combination of wit, stage presence, over four and a half hours of solid material to draw from, and a very charismatic stage personality are a few of the other reasons for the shows success. Steve’s crowds are standing room only wherever he goes, he always leaves them laughing and wanting more. The Steve Bayner ~ Hypnotist Show was once recognized as the best performing hypnotist show in America by the President of the Washington Hypnosis Society. To be recognized by your peers, says it all.
At the age of twenty, Steve attended college and began studying hypnotism, finding hypnosis fascinating. Combining his early entertainment experience, and his knowledge of hypnosis, at the age of twenty-two, The Steve Bayner ~Hypnotist Show was born. Today, The Steve Bayner Hypnotist Show is one of the most sought after, successful shows of its kind. Steve has performed before millions of people each year at fairs, corporate events, conventions, colleges, casinos and innumerable special events. Steve has worked with such stars as Kevin Bacon, David Hasselhoff, Debbie Dunning (The Tool Time Girl), Three Dog Night, Juice Newton, Paul Revere and the Raiders, E.L.O. and the Little River Band, to name a few. His show has been performed all over the United States as well as abroad, being featured on television, radio, in newspapers and magazines, and even on his own cable television show.

Circus Imagination
Circus Imagination is a family owned and operated business that has been travelling around the west coast of the US for more than a quarter of a century teaching kids how to have fun in an old-fashioned way: far from televisions and video-games! The main concept of the participatory show is helping them use their imaginations and find their creativity. First the Ringmaster tells them a story of an old time circus, then they learn about their acts, dress up, and are now ready to perform under their own Big Top.
Starting with Tina the Tightrope Walker who climbs a make-believe ladder 100 feet in the air, followed by Sandow The Strongman, Clarence the Clown, Marco the Lion Tamer and his Ferocious Animals, Believe It Or Not, The Butterfly Ballet, Champagne Sisters, Dead Eye McBang, The Amazing Animal Parade and finishing up with Zazelle, The Human Cannonball: who is shot out of a cannon.
The show can take from four to forty kids, picked right out of the audience, so no rehearsal is necessary. They dress up in colorful costumes that drop right over their clothes and are invited to explore their senses of imagination, resourcefulness and creativity on the stage. The Ringmaster explains the acts to the audience as the children perform- mentally rewarding the kids……..
The children are not the only ones captured by the show’s magic: the whole audience is moved by this captivating little circus, cheering for the kids and applauding with enthusiasm on every single queue. “Now I know how to make my own circus in my own backyard,” a 7 year old girl said.
